This beautiful Red Iguana was rescued by our friends just hours before it passed away.  My husband & Shaun rescued this Iguana and some other critters to our home.  While we were having dinner these beauties were relaxing and shortly after dinner, we noticed that the Iguana was dying-

So, after a short wait and examination they have found out that this Iguana was suffering from Metabolic Bone Disease and Upper Respiratory Infection.  The story was; this Iguana was given doses for milk cow fever that was bought out of a feed store- which resulted in death.  The Red Iguana died of kidney failure.  It was too late, however, we were happy to have had the chance to spend it’s last moment in peace and love 🙂

Farewell beautiful Red Iguana!
